I had set up a service and asked to be called when the service was on their way. Josh Wharton called and said he would be there in 40 minutes. Almost to the very minute, Josh showed up. I told him what I wanted done to an old stove. He took about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem, had the part with him, and fixed it taking all of about 30 minutes. Josh was professional and knowledgeable. I'm glad I use Star for my appliance repair.
I have gotten to know Dennis over the last 7 years of owning my wholesale bakery. I am so thankful for his wisdom, attentiveness to detail but mostly his patience with me as we have worked through annual maintenance and tune ups of various equipment around the bakery. Owning a food business will always make a person nervous about what could happen if a mixer stopped working, a refrigerator broke down or an oven wasn't holding temp. I know that even if and when those things do happen, our bakery is in extremely good hands with Dennis and the entire crew at Star Food Equipment. From scheduling, hands on maintenance work and even billing, the entire staff has always been professional, friendly, and always charging a reasonable and affordable rate.

Bill was extremely helpful and efficient with his work at Alburnett School today. We’ve had another contractor work on a piece of equipment for a few months now with no completion on it. Bill diagnosed (the actual problem) and resolved the issue, in very little time. Look forward to having him back in the building!

I work at Gundersen Palmer Hospital and Clinic. We have had STAR service our equipment for years now. They really are the best. They receive our call and get to us as soon as they can, holidays and weekends too. They are easy and great to communicate with. They will follow up with you after a service. They are truly great to work with!
My husband and I recently- as in yesterday opened our dream cafe. We had purchased a coffee maker for this from Eric. The first day, it wasn't keeping the coffee warm. I called Rapids, told them of my problem and figured it would take a few days for them to get back to me and it really made me feel great when I got a call back- I wish I could remember the nice lady's name- and she assured me they would take care of me and send a tech out. Within a couple of hours, the tech was there, fixing it, Dennis was respectful, knowledgeable , explained things that would help me make my unit last longer and fixed the problem. THEN the next day, I received a call from Eric , the sales man that ALWAYS is so helpful when Brent and I stop in. He has a great personality and he called to make sure it was running right, that the problem was solved and checked in. You do not get this kind of service from anyone hardly any longer! So I give this team of great service peeps a10 + stars because they helped out when we really needed it and didn't give us a run around.. we are so pleased with Eric, Dennis and the great lady that helped get it all lined up.. go to them.. they are the best!
